Trend loves to lay people off. Management seems to think that employees are interchangeable, so they will lay off people in expensive locations and then **try** to rehire in a less expensive location. The most disgusting thing I have ever seen was at an all-Cupertino employee meeting with management, including the CEO (Eva Chen). This meeting was a few weeks after a large lay off. When the executive team was asked the whether or not additional there would be additional lay offs in Cupertino, the response from the executives was ... laughter. Three executives passed the microphone back and forth between themselves laughing and not answering the lay off question. Also, lots of nepotism, cronyism and racism among the Asian executives . Incompetent Asian executives/managers are kept on because they are part of "the family".

Nepotism abounds within this organization. Top leadership are either 1) family 2) people who agree with family and never oppose the constantly changing direction of the organization.
