Pros
It is very gratifying to work for a company that strives every day to provide reliable, cost-effective power to folks living and working in rural areas within a four state area. I also appreciate the value that the company puts on work/life balance. I've never worked for a company that is so compassionate about their employees' personal lives and sometimes difficult situations. And, Tri-State pays their employees very fair wages and provides great benefits.
Cons
Some employees are able to work from home 50% of the time, but no one is permitted to work from home 100% of the time.
