Toxic, Cheap, and Incompetent

Pros

-PTO and medical benefits are fairly good - COVID response was handled well -CEO is approachable and generally friendly

Cons

- Extremely low pay that is not competitive with the industry average of the SF Bay Area. You will only make a few dollars more compared to the minimum wage of retail and restaurant workers here due to their recent pay increase. I found a new job doing the exact same role and my annual pay has almost doubled. -Bonus pay is a joke and the raise is virtually non-existent; I got a 25 cent raise this year and only 50 cent raise last year. They claimed they could not afford to pay me more due to COVID. -Most workers are burnt out and exhausted; little to no recognition of the hard work you put into the company. Hard working employees are leaving the company in droves for better jobs. -Incompetence runs rampant here, many coworkers don't understand how to do their job despite being here for years and will often try to avoid responsibility. TriNet made no effort in securing the return of my work equipment. I had to reach out to IT personally and arrange a drop off at the office; they were not even aware of what items I had to return. This carelessness could be a major security issue as resigning coworkers could potentially still have access to confidential company and customer information. -Chaotic work culture, people generally do not like to help out other teams and it's very common to be included in email chains where they argue over who is "responsible" for the task; you will often be ignored if you reach out to an external team for assistance. - Processes and tasks change all the time with little to no warning and TriNet has an expectation that you should "know about it" and "get used to it." Departmental shifts/changes occur every year and people are in constant fear that they may be laid off. - Toxic management, my direct supervisor of 1.5 years harassed and abused me nonstop verbally over the phone, email and chat every day during the time I reported to them. Despite all the proof, documentation, and countless coworkers who vouched for me, the department director did not care and HR dismissed my claims continually as a "communication issue." Depending on your team, TriNet will also monitor you throughout the day via software that is designed to "monitor your success." - Upper management only cares about the company profits, ignores all the issues with the company under the guise of "Hey we're great because we make a lot of money these days and the company is good because we say it's good."

Pros

Colleagues, perks and benefits. Comp

Cons

Since implementing connect 360, the morale has absolutely plummeted. TriNet went from a leader in customer service to a company where many are embarrassed to be associated with. Misleading customers then rolling out a new model with little to no notice is so poor. Also, reallocating service professionals to call center is a career dead end for them.
