Pros

Very dedicated, committed people in a highly entrepreneurial environment. The place is better than what it was a few years ago - so training is better, processes are better, the systems are better, etc. - the company improves itself through experience. There are opportunities for employees to move around the company and pursue other career interests.

Cons

High turnover in people across many different departments including Sales, Service, IT, etc. due to unrealistic work expectations, imbalance between work/life - I have seen people at "every" level of the company stressed out way beyond what is acceptable. Disconnect between different departments (especially at the management level) which has resulted in less than optimal results. A SaaS company which needs better software, systems and technology to lay its hat on.

TriNet Response

As a current employee, we’d like to thank you for your years of service and genuinely appreciate your feedback. For a company our size, it’s vital that we continue to gather feedback from our employees in an anonymous survey form, which is why we host Great Place to Work. Additionally, the communications team (not HR department) at TriNet has taken it upon themselves to respond to our customers and current (or former) employees on a variety of platforms from Twitter to Glassdoor, because we feel it’s important that comments about our services and work environment are not only heard, but responded to. We realize we have asked a lot of our employees during a period of rapid growth, but we also enhanced our PTO policy within the past year to further encourage employees to take time off. No company is perfect, but we genuinely care and want to do everything we can to continue to improve on the already positive work environment that exists at TriNet. Thank you for taking the time to comment and for the work you do at TriNet.

Pros

I have been with TriNet for over 10 years. You learn a ton in this position: Human Capital Consultant. Lots of opportunities for growth, and challenges too. Like most anything, it's what you make of it. The company is growing rapidly and you need to be able to adapt to a lot of change. Very fast paced. Management does a great job of communicating with employees. Benefits are great. Overall, very satisfied.

Cons

This is a challenging role. I don't know if this is so much a con. You’re expected to be proactive not only with client needs, but also with prep involved with investigating an inquiry (internal or external). This is not the ideal job for someone who wants things provided to them. If you put forth the effort, the opportunities are there.

Pros

There are a lot of smart and hard working people at TriNet. It's rewarding to be able to learn and share ideas. I think TriNet has a lot of momentum in terms of it's solution and product offering - which makes it a fun place to work as well. Overall, the total compensation and benefits plans are very good.

Cons

The company is still Silicon Valley-centric. As we grow, upper management needs to reinforce and embrace a more nationalized view of the company internally and externally.
