Pros

The company is headed in the right direction.

Cons

The current job market is tough so trying to interview and leave has been a challenge. Being part of the HR team as mentioned in another review is challenging. There is no empowerment it is simple laziness and favoritism.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. It’s important that all voices are heard, especially during challenging times. While experiences can vary, we believe open dialogue and transparency are essential to building a stronger team. We support the idea of employees directly engaging with leadership to share their concerns. Every team benefits from honest feedback and a shared commitment to progress.

Pros

The benefits are good and people are generally pleasant. The office is nice. Work-life balance is good.

Cons

The software isn't great. Pay is average at best. The company has a strategy of hiring bright young people with high potential and minimal experience and pays them commensurate with the experience, with the expectation that turnover will be high and we'll just hire more bright young people as replacements. The software strongly reflects this hiring approach: the company has built enterprise-level software for Fortune 50 companies using primarily kids with minimal experience and it shows.

Thank you for your feedback. As a manager, I encourage you to meet with your manager (and me, if you'd like) to develop a retention and attraction strategy that will benefit your team and Trintech. We are actively working to enhance our career pathing and development programs along with our culture to grow and retain talent, and it would be great to have someone like you participate in those programs.
