The environment can be very dysfunctional and stressful because of a lack of direction and communication. Managers want to be in charge of and involved in everything but responsible for nothing. They love to waste time playing the "blame game" rather than finding solutions and taking ownership. Don't wear your feeling on your sleeve because they often use SCREAMING and CONDESCENDING comments as their way of being nice to you.
RUN RUN RUN far away from this company. If you are going to this job thinking it will be better than your last IT WON'T BE. Move on. The management staff is incompetent. They all think the site cannot function without them, because they are AMAZING. Management is full of bullies that just belittle each other constantly. The place is a good ol' boys club. I've never seen so many men be so dismissive … Office is small that everyone can hear it. While management are allowed to work from home, or come and go as they please, you are required to be in office no matter what. And work more than your normal hours. There is no accountabilities for them! If you say something you are FIRED!
