Pros

You meet a lot of people.

Cons

The problem there is their relaying a lot with the headquarters in China. A lot of issues with communication and they tend to follow the number strictly, so a lot of expectations without any training about how to achieve it. They also impose you time shift and hours of work, and love to control all your time. This include in some way obligatory work full time and lack of flexibility. They have quite a lot of employees leaving the company often. I had also the feeling the company often abuse of the fake until make it culture.

Pros

The people I work with. Starting from Team Leaders to Group Leader to agents. People here in Edinburgh are just as fantastic as few people I have met in my previous work place. They truly stick on their main goal: doing their best to support the office and thrive together. The team is the reason why I come at work every day with a huge grin on my face. I will always be grateful to Trip for giving me the opportunity to cross my path with all these lovely teammates that often become part of your daily life. If it'd be for the team I work with I would never leave Trip.

Cons

Great opportunity to boost your cv and enhance your career path and then leave, after all there is still the widely-known Skyscanner trademark. For the workload and the responsibility you have the CS team is not paid enough and therefore instead of being a rewarding role is more a frustrating role. Customer advisors to take inbound calls are pretty much on the similar pay than a complaint handler and this is very much sad. When I applied for the CS position I was very thrilled and elated but after all I found myself not being satisfied at all, the stress and the commitment you have to endure in this specific role is not equally proportional to the pay therefore it can only be a temporary role to dwell in for boosting your experience and then look for the same role in different company where the pay is very competitive and way much higher and arousing.
