-Little to no training and support
-Very high turnover
-3 hours of phone time per day expected, 200-300 dials for sales and 60-100 dials for recruiting
-Low base pay, most employees quit or are fired before they ever make commission.
-You are in direct competition with your supervisor. I'm not even going to list the various conflicts of interest this creates, just use your imagination.
-Aggressive/unethical tactics are encouraged. Not for those with a strong conscience.
-Management's solution to any problem is "work harder" and "dial more." While hard work is vital, without proper direction it leads to new hires spinning their wheels and burning out.
-Trial by fire is the best way to describe your first few months. This may actually be a pro for some, but instead of looking to cultivate talent and skill in new hires they look for you to deliver quickly and those who are unable to do so are bombarded with ridicule and criticism until they quit, and if do to a lack of self esteem or other viable options they do not they are fired.
-While technically you are only required to work 40 hours a week, employees are told when they start that if they don't stay late every day they will not make it. Essentially you end up having to work 50 hours a week but they make you write 40 on your time sheet so those extra 10 hours are "volunteer". I'm pretty sure this is illegal but they've been doing it for a while so they must somehow be able to legally justify it.
Also, please note that several of the five star reviews are fake. Supervisors are required to write 5 star reviews to try to dilute the negative reviews from disgruntled former employees.
