Pros

Flex hours, good location (for me personally anyway), holiday party was always great, intelligent peers (until they stopped giving cognitive tests in interviews), and I had a lot of great coworkers who if it weren't for them and the personal friendships built I would have left long before I did.

Cons

Horrible product management (the last good one JUST left), insecure job due to owners caring about dollars but not people, too much division between departments (even in same city), incompetent managers and employees at all levels who were either acquired into their jobs or hired by a buddy (and likely skipped that afore mentioned cognitive test) when they truly have no business working there, IT pay scale for Atlanta is low. The company was purchased by a venture capital firm last year and they laid off a ton of great people because it was 100% a dollars thing, so it appears now that Triton is truly just a number to be sold again one day for a profit. Thus the truth is none of this will be fixed anytime soon by anyone in charge - they're all just along for the ride. Sad thing is the company at its start was a wonderful place - we're talking 10 years ago before 3 name changes and the first venture purchase. Founders had their flaws like all of us do but they were wonderful people who established an amazing culture. Long gone now. The last big con is the Cincy office - seriously, complete incompetence in every way and a complete waste of space. All of them, what a joke on so many levels. None worse than the support "leader" there. And the skinners who want to be called "developers" lol, that never gets old!

Pros

Flexible work hours, downtown and right next to the metro, free fruits and coffee.

Cons

This company is run by a group of confused and unorganized individuals and no aligned mission statement or vision. They expand solely through acquisitions of their competitors and revenues depend solely on a handful of large clients (whom are all leaving for their competitors). Every department works solely for themselves and the company as a whole looks like an idiot and an absolute laughing stock in the industry. They keep changing up the organizational structure which results in dozens of job loss aka your job is not secure. Forget getting your work recognized or even a promotion, they'd rather create more tension and instil fear into the employees by hiring externally. Low salary, below average retirement and health insurance plans. No bonuses. Definitely not a place to stay for long. Get your experience and get out! Otherwise, enjoy being abused and looked down upon by the Sales department. This place will overwork and take advantage of you.
