Mission-oriented organization with a strong focus on implementing on-the-ground conservation projects. ability to see projects through from planning phases to final completion. Ability to work within a variety of stream habitats.

Cons

Occasional long hours in the field.

Pros

Can be a great place to work if you have a passion for the mission. Great benefits and the people are awesome - especially if you like fishing. The volunteers are also excellent.

Cons

Little no mobility. Often times only chance to advance is by moving to a new location. Prefer to hire outside bs promote from within on a lot of occasions. Salaries are on the lower end and raises are almost non-existent. Life span of most roles is 2-4 years max.
