Pros

Used to be family oriented until new CEO came

Cons

Sending jobs off shore, they spend a lot of money on frivolous things. And not in their employees.

Pros

Remote, earned time off policy, co workers below management are good people. Good Fidelity 401k option.

Cons

-pay is awful, well below industry standards. Been there for a decade and still not at the national level of mid $50s -raises are non existent. For years raises did not keep up with cost of living or rise in cost in insurance. Example, 2019 raise was 3%, but cost of insurance increased about 2%, then everday living increases the raise was wiped out before first paycheck with that huge 3%. -Upper Management pay is absurd for Mobile Al. When top 5 directors' combined compensation equals close to one year of Tom Brady's salary yet those below average below national average there is something wrong. -there is no place to go. Assistant managers and now called "Leads" and some have been at that level the decade I have been there. Can count on a single hand the number of people who moved up the ladder. Not enough hand/feet digits to count the number who have left (and good employees too) because there was no ladder to climb. -New upper management has introduced this "Agile" approach to the company and its confusing fluff and nonsense. -New openings. Go to the website and read the description of roles seeking to be filled. Those of us who have been here have no idea what those roles are, what part of the company they reside, nor what you would be doing if hired. -About 7 years ago BCBS was really good, however over time the cost has increased exponentially and benefits slowly reduced. -Went the extra mile some time ago. Needed someone to drop what was being done and quickly hop on a plane for an install at some remote Idaho hospital for 3 weeks working insane hours? I did it. What did I gain from the extra mile? Nothing. -The company is quick to notice and place under a microscope if any error/mistake happens, but taking notice of going beyond the role....dont hold your breathe.
