Pros

Good Salary, benefits and company perks.

Cons

Management will talk about change, diversity and adapting to be competitive. In actuality they don't want managers with good experience and ideas they want yes people that will turn a blind eye to all the wrong that is going on within the company. The turnover rate is ridiculous and the percentage of minorities is the worst by far. There are too many poor incompetent managers in leadership positions that use bullying and intimidation to influence employees by using their title and authority. I had great hopes for the company but CUNA is a really sad excuse for an employer. If you are a minority and they try to recruit you claiming diversity avoid them at all costs. They will do the ole'bait and switch. Management is incompetent and comfortable because they are not forced to deal with change. CUNA Mutual is the perfect example of the Good Old Boy Club. Just ask them about their diversity percentage during the interview and watch them squirm. If you don't believe me don't take my word for it just look at the other reviews on the company or Google CUNA and Racism. I am certain you will get an unpleasant surprise. RUN MINORITIES RUN, this place is NOT for you.

Pros

Co-workers are the best in the world - smart, caring, and very hard-working. They often feel more like family. Customers are also wonderful.

Cons

The company has changed a ton in the last few years. People are walking on eggshells now just wondering who's position will be eliminated next. Lots of new employees who are still learning which puts more pressure on people who actually know the jobs
