As a service company, as opposed to a product company, you get to work on projects in all kinds of fields (i.e. startups, pharmaceutical, fitness). You work with clients to individualize a software solution, then team up with designers, internal product owners, and QA to flesh out the client's requirements into user stories, wireframes, and prototypes. Everyone at the company loves collaborating and puts the team and client's goals above their own. I was challenged by the designers to build captivating user experiences and certainly worked alongside some of the most talented, open-minded, and creative engineers I probably ever will. The people that work there are what I will miss the most, but I really enjoyed being able to learn so many different languages and tools and solving unique problems every day.

Strong emphasis on learning and sharing knowledge.. Highly Competent in assisting customers in Research, Design and Development of products, They work closely with customers and do a good job of taking the research, and helping the customer to understand the results and then integrate that knowledge into developing software. The projects range across platforms with a concentration in web and mobile products. They also do a fair number of hardware/software products. These are very interesting projects involving sensor and robotic interactions. Excellent senior personnel in all areas. who in their areas do a good job of mentoring more junior. From software engineering side of things, there is a very humble, if I could call it a nurturing environment present. There are high expectations of quality, but never condemning if a mistake is made. That frees up everyone from junior to senior to learn of each other. It also speeds up delivery of features because both issue and knowledge is shared without hesitation, so solutions are found very quickly in way that increases everyone's abilities. Even the junior staff quickly becomes very competent because of that openness. Does a good job at answering and keeping employees up on state of the business. They also hold training sessions over lunch fairly often. These are employee led and can be on business, research, UX and development topics. Past topics have ranged from research techniques, new languages, libraries, sales process, etc. They are also moving into one the most unique spaces. It will be all new next year and based on a lot of input from employees.
