Pros

- smart & chill coworkers

Cons

The recruiter said they had over a year of runway, and yet layoffs started happening almost immediately after I joined. Executives talked a good talk about understanding the issue and addressing it, but nothing changed.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts about your experience with our company. We understand that the layoffs have been difficult for all employees, and we want to take this opportunity to address your concerns. The decision to initiate a round of layoffs was not an easy one, and it was made only after careful consideration of our business needs and the current market conditions. We want to assure you that the decision to lay off employees was in no way a reflection of their performance or dedication to our organization. We value the contributions of each employee and recognize the impact that this decision has on their lives and careers.

Incompetent leadership

Pros

Ability to work remote with a goal of making patients lives better (ultimately not true).

Cons

- Pay - when I signed, I was told there would be annual cash bonuses upwards of $20k. This disappeared quickly. - Leadership - Sid has found a way to run this ship into the ground by taking over and trying to be a “product” company. Ultimately this resulted in massive cash burn, 75%+ of the company being laid of and no clear vision. Oh, and massively diluted equity. - Finance / accounting - yikes, they made everything difficult. - Product/operations — struggling HARD to keep up with demand. Minimal automation when that should have been where all the investment went. - Contract with customers - Truepill is underwater on 90% of their contracts based on just trying to acquire customers. Ie Optum and Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs. They’ll do anything for a logo Avoid this sinking ship.
