Pros

Running water, electricity, pays social security contributions.

Cons

Goals are not met by 95% of the retail staff year after year when looking at daily performance reports for the company as a whole. High pressures to meet these goals, with constant emphasis on consequences, while there’s no reward for those who meet them. “Right sized” branches that have only one teammate and a manager in them for the majority of the weeks within the year. Continued slashing of benefits, outsourcing and layoffs. Concerns are not seen to leadership in ways you think they would be. Feedback is generally not desired. Constant turnover. No budget for raises year after year. Talent constantly driven out by incompetence within upper leadership. No budget for retention or raises. People aren’t paid on performance which creates mediocre results year after year. Opening every Saturday by year end.

Pros

Competitive pay and inclusive and diverse environment (Truthfully the only pros I can think of)

Cons

This company has incredibly high expectations of employees that they set up for failure. Not only was the BB&T and Suntrust merger incredibly disastrous but they gave an extremely small monetary bonus. This company's culture is terrible, Everyone is overworked and completely disregarded in conversations with upper management when brought to them. It has been a topic of conversation for several years. The worst part is that when you're overworked and under supported and a mistake happens (specifically regarding the branch tellers) they are extremely hard on you (threatening your entire job), when in all reality if the branch had been properly staffed, that mistake would have been easy to avoid! ****The pay is not worth the workload or treatment****

Pros

People I work with everyday.

Cons

New senior management coming has extreme right wing values with little trust in technology they do not understand. They are out of touch with todays world and the will send shareholder value through the floor.Coporate Security creates major engineering standards which inhibit making the smallest effort or task a big deal, making any undertaking more about politics and less about productivity. Too many chefs in the kitchen that have no clue how to cook dinner.
