Pros

Comprehensive suite of capital markets capabilities, which provides ample of opportunities to bring value to a client. Teammates are competent in their roles and largely collegial.

Cons

Management has established a cannibalistic culture due to nearly annual major strategic shifts. Each year employees expect cuts and will step on your head to prevent it being them. The constant strategy shifts also create whiplash for clients with constant changes in what it takes to form a successful relationship. In addition to annual reductions in force, Truist Securities suffers from additional turnover of good employees because management is dishonest about bonus pay. I don't say this lightly, but the management of Truist Securities lies about bonus pay and what is required to earn it. If you point out their dishonesty they fire you.
