Toxic and exhausting

Pros

Decent pay and benefits, and you get your birthday off. Everything else has gotten pretty awful

Cons

Very negative environment with toxic coworkers who make fun of people and complain all day every day. Favoritism is rampant, and staffing shortages going back years have gotten much worse with the pandemic, so now a skeleton crew is stretched even thinner by having to cover multiple branches at increasing distances

Pros

From my experience there are very few positives to working at the Greensboro Contact Center. At the very least, It’s a pay check and ample employee parking.

Cons

The cons definitely out weight the pros to working here, this place has a severe racial problem, BB&T-Truist may do all this talk about being inclusivity, but it’s just a fake front. On my first day there, I sat down at a table of other people in my new hire class, everyone at the table just got up and immediately left. Expect to be isolated and marginalized the entire time you are there. And the training is shoddy at best, I would a ask a question to my team leader, and would be told “You figure it out” or go YFIO. And one worst part of the job, is the call auditors, who contributed to the improvement of the calls, they complained about the way I said hello, they want everyone to sound like Madea.
