Pros

The other employees are generally good people.

Cons

Everything is your job. If you like being a teller, desk rep, and running back and forth to safe deposit boxes, then this is for you. And while you are doing all of that, you are also answering all of the phone calls, emails, and assisting all the customers in the lobby. Almost every process is a manual process, when they have the capability to automate so much more of it. There are too many bosses and not enough reps to help on the floor.

Pros

Not that hard if you have been in banking before.

Cons

No support, understaffed so you are overwhelmed with work that may or may not be in job duties. No growth opportunities, Even with success recognition is few and far between. If you take on a banker role make sure you research your manager. Don’t be fooled by the smile and southern charm. Turning into the old Wells Fargo with sales.
