Pros
At the time I worked there, benefits were nice - pet insurance, good PTO, and health insurance. Also work from home, but if you do go to the office, it's very pet friendly. They're always looking at new ways to innovate in their market.
Cons
Toxic culture and cowardly management - worst I've ever worked under, There's a fake positive vibe, which didn't take long to see through, you're just a dollar sign to them - It's probably the most Jekyll and Hyde culture I've ever experienced, and it does very little to encourage and motivate. There's no real leadership and the priorities are misplaced - and it comes from the very top down to the team managers. I had the opportunity to work with almost every area of the company and it was evident throughout - very little direction and it tried to keep the startup appearance while being extremely corporate and shallow under the surface. Management is awful at communicating. It's a very hollow and fake place, and honestly, I just felt gross after I left. It took me a little while to recover from my experience. Some may enjoy that kind of environment, and I'm sure some will like being in the pet industry, but the culture and leadership is not it.
