Pros

Pet insurance eliminates the need for financial euthanasia. Working at corporate is awesome with all the pets in the office. Celebrations are always something to look forward to. Different shifts available to accommodate lifestyles.

Cons

Employees have extremely high demands and bonuses are based on some unrealistic expectations. Employees always in fear of termination without warning. Turnover is high due to terminations without reasons given to employees. Money driven mentality has changed the way claims are processed and weekly changes to the way policies are reviewed make it difficult to provide consistency for policy holders and employees.

Pros

Dogs and cats everywhere! Open office environment. Beautiful office. Co-workers all have a passion for pets which helps everyone get along. Free daycare, free health insurance, tons of weeknight events like games, craft events, and movie nights. Paid day off to volunteer. LEGENDARY HOLIDAY PARTY!

Cons

Pay is much less than industry average. Work/life balance is non-existent in some departments. Your insurance may be free but it is offensively expensive to cover dependents (prepare to have $625 deducted from EACH PAYCHECK if you want to cover your spouse and children. I'm amazed that some people have money left over after that). Vacation is use it or lose it so if you end up in a department with no work/life balance, prepare to lose it at the end of the year. Building is far away from decent food and the same food trucks every day is boring. No 401k employer match. Heavy focus on bonuses vs. liveable wage.
