Almost no engineering team left.

Pros

Truveris has a great remote culture. Most of the US employees are down to earth and very friendly. Good sense of camaraderie, although that may be because we've all suffered through the recent leadership changes together. Can honestly say HR crew is second to none.

Cons

Truveris is the strangest tech company I've ever worked for. Pretty constant stream of departures in engineering, product, and ops, weekly at this point. Majority of engineering team is now comprised of Ukrainian 'consultants', some of whom aren't competent. Company has been playing questionable legal games of how much access to US health data they can give to these 'consultants', but seems to have no interest in hiring local replacements. Engineering is now overseen by a fully remote CTO who seems minimally invested and isn't around much and a new fully remote director who seems to be running around in a panic. In the last couple weeks, there's been some random firings to stop the 'negative attitude' around the office. Hasn't helped morale at all. I think 'spiraling' may be putting the situation gently.

Pros

Smart concepts and good products to control healthcare costs Some company events and partially stocked kitchen (with beer) Generally relaxed culture

Cons

Extremely unstable management... just fired the CMO, CRO, CTO, and a few other executives a month ago. The previous CEO was fired in the round before that. Lots of power grabbing going on with no clear explanations. In my year that I have been here, there has been a steady stream of departures or "layoffs". Before that, the founders were pushed out due to politics too.

Pros

Pros do not outweigh the cons

Cons

Management is highly disorganized, and will throw their team to the sharks to save themself..Meanwhile the manager's team are the one whose pulling the weight of everything the managers are NOT doing If you get hired here, expect to get laid off in a year or two with an excuse on performance that the never mentioned to you
