Pros

Flexibility and the pay can actually be pretty good. Making over 50k a year as a SDC is reasonable and some push 100k year depending on the market.

Cons

No such thing as a 8 hour day or even 10. It never stops. You work all day and then could take it home and work on it till 12 pm at night. Mgt. is not supportive to training but wants you to sell so they can hit their bonus. You don't have time in the day to finish all the days task and they just double the next day. A day off is a joke because if you actually take a day off you will just be that much further behind the next day. I work everyday. Everyday.! If you single and don't have obligations. Its a decent paying job. If you have a family. Prepare for arguments at home.

Thank you for your comments. First, let me apologize if you felt you had no choice but to work every day. However, there is much more to learn from your comments such as, during your 3-4 year tenure with Tuff Shed, was this the norm? Did you share your concerns directly with your manager? Our managers are able to help provide guidance to our team members on effectively managing time and schedules. Our training programs continue to evolve and we invite our team members to share any insights to help improve our training programs.

Pros

Nothing that outweighs the cons

Cons

-Over worked and under appreciated. Reminds you that you "can be replaced" -Company doesn't support staff. Functions off of "figure it out' logic but will hold you responsible if you don't. -Company lied to employees DURING pandemic about job security -All they care about is money and will ask you to lie to customers to cover themselves -Uses sub-contractors so there is little accountability on them -Will ask employees to perform tasks they are under qualified to do or outside their job description. Will fire if you don't. -Unstable and hectic business practices but sells that as their "work environment" -Willing to hire undocumented employees for cheaper labor if they can get away with it Would give a negative rating if possible. Passed up on other opportunities for this job only to regret it for MANY REASONS later. Don't get trapped in by the sweet talk or the pay.
