The checks are always in the bank on time.

Cons

Its not what you know but who. I've seen people promoted into positions when they were inept at previous positions. I refused to promote and work for people whose job i knew more about and I wouldn't participate in inner office politics.

Great place to start a career! supportive staff and coworkers. All my supervisors were incredibly helpful and want the best for the office and individuals. Opportunity to Flex. Pension. County car. Opportunities to move up.

Cons

The work can be repetitive however, there is not much to complain about. I enjoyed my time working for Tulare County.
