Pros

Tully Rinckey is a great place to develop professionally alongside level-headed management who take the time to know attorneys in the firm and help them grow. Having a large firm presence with many peers who practice in the same or similar areas and are only a phone call or an email away encourages teamwork and collaboration, which I believe is necessary for professional growth. Administrative support is always available, and round-table discussions are not simply encouraged, but they are the norm. When staffing issues arise, they are resolved quickly and discretely, and someone is quick to step up to the plate to ensure coverage. While its attorneys grow professionally, the firm, too, has been growing beyond expectations. The firm's expansion is always a healthy topic for conversation, and leadership keep everyone apprised as to their progress and latest conquests.

Cons

A high-octane and fast-paced environment with consistent performance expectations is not for everyone. Those who work well under pressure and avoid issues created by others quickly rise to the top, while others who do not produce consistently and focus their time and effort on extraneous issues find it difficult to adapt to life at Tully Rinckey.

Pros

Growth opportunity is unmatched. Compensation is above market.

Cons

The firm takes cases other law firms reject to help out the community and this creates stress on the staff dealing with difficult clients. Staff turnover is problematic but understandable given the robust job market.

Pros

- Staff works well together - Work is interesting - Schedule is flexible - Pay is above average

Cons

- Managers do not have an understanding of the jobs their subordinates do. - Managers foster a hostile work environment. - Managers prefers degrading emails to walking five feet and talking with staff - Management constantly micro-manages with little to know direction. - New Managers needs to take off "floaties". - "Open door" policy leads to retaliation. - You are scolded like a child for mistakes. - All actions against employees are meant to be punitive and not meant to assist in rehabilitation.
