Pros

Sometimes friendly customers. The image of the company helps you look better to future employers and is great for the resume. Working for a green company that has a lot of potential (untapped) to help the world. You will love your co-workers...

Cons

...but you will be unnerved by higher management. Middle management always looks zombified and trapped. Insane turnover. The company flies under the veneer of trendy enviro aesthetic, but the inner core is replete with poor fiscal choices and mismanaged resources. Instead of paying their managers what they are worth, they spend their budget on frivolous and trivial things. Cannot seem to keep MOD's or department managers for longer than a year or two, which is a clear sign this is a turn and burn establishment.

Pros

The customers are cool, 20% off, a very easy job considering what is asked of you. The coworkers are super amazing!

Cons

Where do I begin?! Management is horrible and most in upper management have no real training in management. They promote on seniority as opposed to people who know what they are doing and are qualified for. If you are friends with John (the owner) then you can basically say and do whatever you want and will not get fired. Management has no Hr training and there is no HR department. If a supervisor is being verbally inappropriate (which happens a lot) then nothing happens, it all just gets swept under the rug. Communications from upper management is fickle and depends on the store director's mood for the day. Also too much red tape for a company that is completely disorganized. How do they stay in business l? The pay is horrible too with a high turnover rate.
