Flex time is the only pro

Cons

The company constantly changes policies to suit a school and forces it all across the board making it impossible for tutors to tutor. Supervisors go unchecked. Hours can be min 10 a week. Pay does not compensate for the insanity.

Capped at 2 hours a day Isolated from all other tutors Underpaid Students are disrespectful - you're not paid enough to babysit the college students that demand you solve all their problems Unreasonable expectations from management - from the tutoring time limits to the invasions of privacy

They are rigid and unforgiving

Make your own schedule; direct deposit; raised pay for peak hours

Cons

The program used to work from home is not user intuitive; the supervisors do not "train" you, they send you dozens of articles to read; incredibly rigid about how tutor sessions should operate. They are not understanding and are more concerned with having every tutor conduct themselves in the same exact way than whether or not the student is getting the most from their session.
