Pros

The company offers fancy perks such as yearly wellness benefits, education reimbursement, and supplemental healthcare plans.

Cons

Although the company claims to prioritize diversity and family values, its leadership condones xenophobic and sexist behaviors and rumors throughout the organization. Exceptionally talented female engineers and analysts are assigned menial tasks and treated as easily replaceable, or else they will face retaliatory measures. Despite its impressive potential, the various technologies are not yet suitable for deployment. The lead engineers are unproductive, and the management resorts to unethical practices such as applying quick fixes to the technology to appease paying customers instead of addressing the underlying issues. The company also hires current mil/gov employees part-time to maintain connections with clients. The company's future acquisition and merging plans are resulting in unnecessary layoffs and low attrition rates, aimed solely at increasing profit margins at the expense of skilled workers.

Pros

Cool technology, smart people doing the actual tech work and customer facing missions

Cons

Very sad to have seen the merger deplete all semblance of culture and family, increase ineffective middle management layers, and lose sight of any sense of mission in favor of unrealistic growth and revenue goals only. This will be nothing special and look exactly the same as SAIC, CACI, Booz, Leidos, and all the rest before long.

Sad to read this review; as we are working hard as a leadership team to ensure we do not lose our unique culture - blending the best from each of the businesses we acquire. We are making significant investments to ensure we remain focused on our TST culture. Community Service, Employee Engagement Activities, DE&I, and Leadership Development are high priorities for us. We do have significant growth targets -- and great programs to reward and celebrate all employees.

Pros

The company throws benefits at the employees like I've never seen before and they offer extremely competitive salaries.

Cons

The culture in the security department is very toxic and security's leadership is essentially non-existent, essentially being an overpriced note taker who doesn't seem to understand timelines that are out of the hands of their employees (ie: waiting for gov't approvals). The leadership of Security has some sort of continuing feud going with the leadership of IT, and everything turns into a power struggle/ego battle of pointing fingers, shifting blame, and overall just a waste of time. This goes on to the point where the employees of the Security and IT departments work together without letting their leadership know so they can actually get things done. (The leadership of IT is pretty cool and seems to just want to get the job done, but has to play the political game and cover themselves. I bet it's stressful.) While I was there, I was repeatedly asked to cut corners, work on projects that I couldn't legitimately work on (due to gov't requirements), and consistently promised that things would get better, only to get worse and more stressful. After being told that I needed to "be a team player" several times for not risking my career in the contracting space, I decided to leave the company. Since leaving, I've been told by several people whom TST does business with that I know and have worked with/for, as well as gov't people, that I have been repeatedly trash talked since leaving. I can't speak about the rest of the company, but my experience in Security wasn't great by any stretch.
