Pros

Good benefits starting on day one. Good PTO package for new employees (4 weeks). Flexible work schedule can promote work life balance.

Cons

They’ve continued to cut merit increases, monthly incentive pay, and eliminated the cell phone stipend in an effort to cut costs. They offer promotions without an increase to base salaries while trying to sell it with monthly incentives that they can and will also change to pay less. There is very little diversity, equity, and inclusion in the organization. Especially within leadership roles at the management level and above. Opportunities for advancement are extremely limited and often given to “favorites” without interviewing all qualified candidates, if they even posted a requisition at all. HR does not get involved when concerns are brought to them and often redirect back to management. Development is your own responsibility. There are limited resources available to help individuals grow and even more limited roles with a pay increase for people to grow their careers with. Software releases are often bugged and not fully tested. Certain products do not have a roadmap that is conducive to resolving customer issues or maintaining competitive edges within the market. If you aren’t considered a favorite with management, get comfortable in your role.

Pros

-WFH Options (2 days a week and as needed) -PTO upon first hire and access to a full bank -Large client base, job security

Cons

-Clients are unknowledgeable of their jobs, making supports job impossible sometimes -Outdated code that gets pushed to production with minimal QA -Middle and Upper management have zero transparency -Performance reviews for raises never have an "exceptional" rating. Management will say "you did the workload of 3-4 people this year, you did an exceptional job this year" and once you ask why that was an expected quality and not exceptional they'll give you the "but that was expected of you this whole time because you've always given your all." Impossible to get anything other then a 3% raise -Direct management claims to encourage your career goals but the second you request training on something other then what would benefit your team directly they'll shut it down -Super strict about going in office since covid is over. Even with family concerns they'll try and ding you for working from home. Zero difference in work processes when WFH or in office. No in person meetings at all.
