While non-profit organizations often receive funding from the government or other outside sources, as a privately owned company, we do not, therefore it is crucial that we remain fiscally responsible in order to continue to provide jobs for our team members and exceptional care for our families. Our goal is to provide competitive wages, which are regularly reviewed to ensure market competitiveness. This past year, we conducted an extensive market analysis of compensation in the early learning industry, and increased pay across the board to ensure we were meeting and even exceeding market standards. We are very proud of being able to do this for our team members, and the feedback we receive from new hires is often very positive in that they are being given the opportunity to make more than they did at their previous ECE employer. While fiscal responsibility is a priority, quality care, relationships and education are paramount. We follow strict ratio guidelines in accordance with the Department of Human Services (DHS) to ensure best-in-class care for our students and are legally restricted from overcrowding our classrooms.
