Pros

Great training for about 4-5 weeks. They really prepare you to start work. On going support and great leadership. Very flexible if you need time off or want extra time on - not going over part time hours though. You totally know what's expected of you so it makes things easier. Room for advancement or if you want to try other departments. I was able to work from home but had the opportunity to go into the office if I wanted to. I'm sorry I'm not there anymore - hoping to get rehired in the summer time. Low pay but bonuses for each rental and sale. Decent money.

Cons

There really are no downsides to working there. It's all in all a great company who actually care for their employees.

Pros

There aren't any. Do not work for the Software Deparment at U-Haul.

Cons

The pay is well below the market rate. The technology is far date. The software is very poorly written so it is a maintenance nightmare. There is no opportunity to advance. Not a good work environment. Only two weeks of vacation for 10 years of service. Management is very inflexible and will throw you under the bus. Medical Insurance dismal with very high Deductible, No matching on 401k.

Pros

Pay is pretty decent for what I consider a very easy job...Making only 3 reservations per hour will get you $15.90 per hour! Company is very flexible with giving you time off if you can find someone to work your shift...You need to make a certain amount of reservations per hour to make your bonus, but pretty easy to do and for the most part management does not bother you...

Cons

A LOT of glitches in their system...takes awhile to figure out how to get around them, but once you do, it's okay...sometimes you will get some unhappy people, but that's to be expected...More nice ones than not...
