Pros

The work is very important. The people you work with are highly motivated. You get out what you put in. Look for a crisis and ask to help. People will not turn down your help if they are in a tight spot. This allows you to work on projects that are above your pay grade.

Cons

The work can be tedious if you do not go looking for interesting things to do. Capitol Hill is a place for highly motivated individuals, only.

Pros

The people you work with are the best, you won't find a better staff on the hill.

Cons

Senator Inhofe has very unique policies, and he repeats himself a lot. I never really felt as if he was talking to me, but at me. But none the less, a friendly guy.
