      i can't think of anything nice to say about this company. lets see, the company gps system is pretty accurate

      promised $.38.5 per mile--paid $.27.1. tried to get me to take trailer with no plates, inspection or registration ,told me it was legal, till i called dot and asked, then they changed their tune. have done 4 loads for them and everyone was a major headache. have quit -trying to return truck

      Pros

      Very Cushy job. Not to stressful like every other job at this place. They work with your schedule in this department. People over here are great. Other departments have a lot of hot heads resulting from the high stress jobs.

      Cons

      Company has not given a raise out in 5or more years. US Xpress is not predicted to be doing much better in the future. The pay in this department is fairly low. Its all about who you know. A good ol boy system.

      Pros

      Most managers are good to work with. Coworkers and working environment are very good.

      Cons

      Company grew too fast too early and was not able to manage it. They still over compensate by going through cycles of hiring and layoffs.
