If you love watching millions of dollars wasted on failed efforts led by incompetent, back-stabbing senior administrators, you'll love UC Davis. If you love squeezing students for every dime while allowing senior administrators to pull in outrageous salaries, even when making egregious errors (Linda Katehi) and costing the university millions, then this is the place for you. If you like never getting a raise, not having tuition benefits for your kids, having to pay more and more for employee parking while being lectured about the evils of driving, come on down! If you like working for an institution that is decades behind the times in most administrative processes, and where "collaborative" processes water down and slow down the quality and pace of change, this is a great place to work.
