Santa Cruz is a great place to live, and the campus redefines what a beautiful campus can look like. The campus culture is special.

Cons

The UC system is increasingly difficult to stay with. Financial problems don't appear to be going away. It's hard to tell if it's being badly managed or if this is just a tough time.

Too far away from the city life, Too boring in summer and winter. Rainy season during the winter, Too expensive to live
