Pros

100% Employer paid benefits 401k match Able to stay working remote for now

Cons

Being a legacy Ultimate Software employee the merger with Kronos has been heart breaking in many ways. Of course there are changes and growing pains with the merging process but they are headed in the wrong direction. High ups are only from the Kronos side now with many legacy Ultimate employees retiring or just leaving. Legacy Ultimate employees at all levels are leaving. Before the merger we were told the lowest paid employee was just as valuable as the highest paid and should be treated that way and it showed. I felt like I had found a company where I wanted to really grow my career. I felt valued and appreciated. I was thankful every day to be with the company. Now there is a very apparent lack of culture. Morale is down. Policies have changed yet are not stated anywhere or clear. Micro managing has been implemented which makes an employee feel like a number not a person. Not able to get clear answers on current HR and other policies and getting the run around to try to get clarification. Different expectations set than before. When the new CEO took over he praised Ultimate and said he could learn from us since we were so high on the great places to work list. Yet the complete opposite has happened. It's not the worst place to work. To me now it is comparable to working at a lot of big box type of jobs. So if you're satisfied with that then great. But it's nothing like it was.

Pros

Employees & co-workers are top notch. The people here genuinely want to do a good job and it shows in their work ethic. The problems are challenging in a good way.

Cons

There was an all-staff meeting where the CPO was late. When he came in he stood over a woman sitting in "his seat" and demanded that she move to another chair at the conference table. We all watched in amazement as she gathered her things, moved down the table to a different empty seat, only then did he start the meeting. This is an excellent example of his "leadership" technique. Ridiculously infantile and completely arbitrary "incentive" programs like lollipops, poker chips, stickers and magnets. Told to use internal social media platforms that change every year (tibber, chatter, yammer, who knows what's next)... why do we have to do this????? Good people are leaving and/or getting fired at a disturbingly frequent rate! Top people in many fields come here, tell the senior leadership what is wrong, then either leave after watching their advice go unheeded or get summarily dismissed for "not being a Kronite".

Pros

-If you lack technical skills and do not want to work, you will be coddled here and will collect a pay check.

Cons

---I Gurantee you most of the glassdoor reviews are our recruiters continually making new accounts and posting false employee reviews. The culture and hapiness level in this company is not what these reviews imply--- 1. Executive Leadership/Management is so disconnected from the product, process, and customer needs, they only provide negative value. Not zero value, negative value. 2. If you are skilled you will be overworked as it is easier for the uninformed executive team to pile on work to those who can do it and avoid those who do not. You will not be compensated for your additional work. 3. Nobody in a management/leadership position for Kronos WFR has ever implemented the product. They probably cannot even log in. 4. Management cannot help their employees with 98% of their problems as they do not have the knowledge, experience, or skill. 5. Plain and simple Kronos is drowning in the idea that "You do not need to be able to assist or do the job of the people you manage." 6. You will never move up in the company as they will always hire external resources with no experience that spend 8-10 months learning/making bad decisions just to then jump ship when they realize how broken Kronos WFR is. 7. People are quitting left and right even though they do not have a backup job just to get out of the toxic environment. 8. Company consistently plays favorites (yes I know this happens in all companies) but unfortunately the "favorites" have inverse relations to value they add. 9. Did I mention the executive leadership is quite clueless? It's just a bunch of drinkers who hired their buddies who now just sit on a raft drinking mojitos on the back of those who actually provide value. 10. Leadership is stuck in the 1990's and throws around buzz word terms in an attempt to seem "hip". 11. Honestly WFR will probably be sold as Kronos seems to show no interest in supporting the branch. That or mass layoffs. 12. CEO never makes visits, doesn't know what is going on, spends much of his time making pointless "Aron at Work" videos constantly going off on how great a work environment his company is.....This is not the case. 13. The company falsifies employee ratings/surveys. When an entire location rates a survey negatively (communally) and then they turn around and claim we scored in the 99 percentile on our ratings, you know something is fishy.....
