Pros

The only thing I can think of that’s positive is the Employer paid benefits.

Cons

Implementation consultants are over worked and greatly unappreciated and underpaid. The average consultant works an easy 60hr workweek. There is more emphasis on getting an account live than what is right for the client. The timeframe to get accounts live is also getting shorter and shorter. Employees health is negatively getting affected due to the extreme stress. The company offers unlimited PTO but people struggle with taking time off as the work just keeps piling on. UKG says its purpose is people but with each day that passes it’s harder to believe.

Pros

Fully remote, fully paid healthcare, reimbursements for internet and phone bills.

Cons

Constant fear of lay offs, management not back filling positions of people leaving causing more stress on current consultants. Coworkers on certain teams are just so bad at their jobs and constantly having to make excuses to clients on why work isn’t done. Moved all consultants besides level 3/Senior role to hourly and gave a terrible amount for back pay that we were owed for OT. Hardly any room for career growth and the people who are promoted are based on tenure or how much you are in with management rather than performance.

Pros

401K match Heath benefits are average Talented Employee prior to burnout

Cons

This is a company for people early in their career. Consulting roles will require at least 55-60 hours per week. Salaries will be lower and are actively shifting to staff internationally for lower employee costs. Seasoned employees are encouraged to take early retirement to replace with lower cost/less experienced people. This severely reduces quality of professional service delivery and customer satisfaction. The causes UKG to know be an average company at best. No longer an industry leader. New policy for remote hires does not provide a budget for home office (no monitors, no chair, and no office supplies).
