Pros

- Great culture - Yearly Disney trip - Great benefits (if you aren't in the trap!) - Unlimited PTO (if you aren't in the trap) - Free food often

Cons

Certain positions, namely in IT, don't get the recognition they deserve. I was there for multiple years and among the best on my team, fighting for full time. I never got it. I was far from the only one. Many others struggle with the same thing. It was out most common conversation topic. This means I was only paid hourly and did not get insurance, time off, and other benefits they just love to boast about. My boss knew this and would try to give raises which were shot down by upper management. But they had no problem spending hundreds of thousands on expedited shipping to data centers and super high end suites on them for business trips!

Pros

Best of breed software and perfectly engineered terminals.

Cons

I was terminated from a sales position after stumbling over an improper vendor relationship my manager was maintaining with a vendor. This impropriety was hurting Kronos, my customers and myself. I had never been terminated from any company in any position in my entire life. Once my manager found out I was on to him I received a Letter of Concern which was written at a seventh grade level with no facts, documents or references to support it. I was terminated 30 days later. Human resources would not elevate my concern, and my three separate communications to Aron Ain were ignored. My supervisor was fired a few months later. Kronos then aggressively fought my unemployment claim.

Pros

Decent benefits, lots of little perks and programs that are innovative and useful. Moving to a new location next year which will include a newly build out facility with (expected) much improved environment. Hosted/Cloud platform is a good direction for the future.

Cons

(May be different in other parts of the company) Support organization is behind the times with - tools and infrastructure - knowledge sharing and cross functional processes - having any sort of direct relationship with engineering - no follow the sun model Support has rigid hours; not amenable to work life balance; little flexibility I see no career advancement; Comment made the other day that Kronos was good if you plan to retire in the next couple of years but nor for anyone looking to build a career Leadership on my team is completely hands off/disengaged and appears unwilling to address problems with equal distribution of work across the team and team members who have 'checked out'
