Really like working here
Pros
I have worked here for over 10 years. I have a decent paycheck and benefits. We are an outpatient clinic, so we are pretty much left alone by upper management, which is nice :) I work with a great group of co-workers and have an excellent supervisor and clinical manager who actually listen to the workers, and really do care for the patients. I am always treated fairly and with respect! Very grateful to work here!
Cons
The only thing I would say that is kind of negative is that Outpatient Behavioral Health services techs do not get any recognition for the hard work we provide to clients. There are some awesome workers that would appreciate some kind of recognition. All we ever hear about are the inpatient unit workers at UPC or the main hospital getting awards and employee of the month. A little bit of recognition would really boost moral.
