Pros

Many innovative practices. Great physicians, wonderful nurses and support staff. Many different committees and other groups to get involved in.

Cons

Financial crisis interferes with the ability of the staff to complete the organizational mission. Some of the management are horrible to work for and honestly seem like horrible people.

Decent benefits/discounts to theater and sporting events. Flexibility and working from home !!

Cons

Management lied about transition to VR and then proceeded to outsource to Nuance. Pay per line pre-Nuance 10 cents; post 3 cents. Bottom line is money- quite a savings for the hospital but final product looks unprofessional, mistakes galore (unedited left as is). VR is a sign of the times but hospital could've had the current employees carry on as editors but they chose to outsource with East Indians doing the majority of the work. So much for loyalty and 15 years of dedication.
