Pros

I came to work for UPS because of the tuition assistance and the benifits. It has also been very stable compared to other companies.

Cons

There are certain things that you have to give up to work at UPS. Everything is part time based work. To go full time, there is a considerable wait. The hours are based on sort coverage. Chances are, you will be giving up your nights. Evan if you work day sort, you will still be working Sun- thurs

Pros

The benefits are top notch, and the company has a good reputation on resumes from what I am told. They are excellent and Flexible when it comes to time of for school and other circumstances that may come along.

Cons

Management seems out of touch with regular employees. The pay and benefits are not attractive enough to their main hiring pool, which usually consists of college students. UPS is all about beating the clock, sometimes at the expense of the safety of other employees.
