Pros

Potential for growth, devopment and advancement. Employee benefits, compensation and rewards. Reputation for minority employee satisfaction. Variety of positions with which to work in. Part time employees have the opportunity to go to school full time or work another job. Ownership in the company. Safety is paramount!

Cons

Must start at entry level position and pay regardless of experience and education. This means that talented leaders may not be able to afford to start a career with UPS with a starting pay of $8.50 for the first 90 days. A lot of the equipment in the hub is in poor condition. Supplies needed to work with are in short supply.

Pros

If you have a busy life and want to set your own hours it is totally possible. You can work seven days a week or only 1 day a week and that would be just fine. You need not give any explanation, you simply call in to say you are available for work.

Cons

You are completely lied to about how much potential for money there is. You are lead to believe that they needed you yesterday, only to find out that the other drivers almost never have enough work and resent you for working there and potentially taking your gigs.
