Pros

Good insurance, good pay, good pension (for now), vacations, 401k. For not requiring a degree, this is a really good job.

Cons

Long hours, never see your family, forget about watching your children in sports, dinner is always late, no set hours, No a/c in trucks, heat exhaustion, takes toll on your body.

Pros

By being a preloader you have the opportunity to one day become a Package Car driver and make quite a bit of money!

Cons

Super early hours - earliest start time so far for me was 1:45am High expectations - they expect you to load 200+ packages into 4 cars per hour Heavy packages A lot on your back/joints Not enough hours/low pay - this is a part time job making $11 an hour...you'll need another job It may take years to become a package driver making the big bucks
