Pros

pay, benefits, company give back to employees, pay for your schooling if you are going to college.

Cons

hard work. Worked as a loader, unloader, and sorter. I expected it to be hard work. Some people couldn't handle and quit with a couple of months. I was there 4 years and it was worth it!

Pros

The raises and benefits are great, although they about to change this year. UPS and the state is currently paying for just about all of the costs of my bachelor's degree! The company usually shows a decent concern for its employees, and the union helps when you know your supervisor is overstepping their boundaries.

Cons

It's way too difficult to get anything fixed and when it does get fixed it may take a very long time for it to get fixed. The union will not allow anyone to be judged on the quality of their work or their attendance so you have some people who are extremely lazy doing nothing while someone else picks up their slack. I feel like that makes you really frustrated.
