Low compensation and micro managaing! Literally, some managers sit by the entrance to watch employees, Not a place to work if you have school-age children as there's no worklife balance at UPS throughout the U.S. In order to be considered for a promotion, you must work at least 45+ hours a week. Promotions are limited and some have passed up because an employee "only works 40 hours". There are many who have reached the point where they're "ready for the next level" but have been at that point for years due to the # of people in the pipline,

The hours are dreadfullly long. You will never expect to find a 40 hour work week. Work life balance is always at a minimum. They typically station you quite a distance away from your home, which leads a long, disatisfying commute to and from work. The process of relocation is dreadful unless your nose is "super brown." Management is always driven by numbers, which at times seem very unachievable. Senior management also forgets where they came from when it comes to priorities with the immediate job description (ie. driving a number on a report which is on the bottom of the departments priority list.)
