Pros

None I can discern after 4 long years

Cons

If you are passionate about this industry growing, please please please, do not come here. Try your best to find any other company to work and grow with. You will be subjected to the most severe unprofessionalism, low integrity, extreme politics unlike anything I’ve ever seen, low character, incompetent, scientifically inept, upper management you will ever experience. And there’s nothing to be learned from it other than signs on what to avoid in your future employers. Your skills, your time, and your life are more valuable than spending it working on nothing for this “ceo” with a fake back story.

Pros

The team is great, they're putting up with so much from management and executives.

Cons

I worked at Upside Foods for several years and my employment came to an end last year. I consider it the worst work experience in my career, mostly due to management. Managers in this company need to take a long and hard look at themselves. HR should also take a look at their long track records of bullying, lack of technical and managerial experiences, and sometimes even racism. There are more incompetent managers at Upside than I can count, some of the technical mistakes they make in large meetings are just embarrassing, yet for some reason they're never replaced or let go. On the contrary, junior people from their teams are laid off or blamed for managers mistakes. Certain upper management persons are some of the reason why this company will fail, if you continue to promote people based on popularity and not competence that's what will happen. The C-suite folks are also incompetent, some of them we never see or hear from, and some of them have made mistakes that cost the company millions of dollars yet no one is holding them accountable. No product after all these years, no one believes in you anymore internally or externally. Good luck getting consumers to buy your product in the current economic landscape.
