Pros

Working at UGP allowed for a type of professional and personal growth that is not often seen in someone's career. The team enables you to be your best and actively contribute to a growing organization. While I am no longer a current employee, UGP provided a foundation to build and increase skill sets that I have taken with me throughout my career. For those passionate about golf, it simply does not get any better. The team culture is fun, and while I was not a coach/trainer myself, my game got better through osmosis of being around a team of passionate individuals. Exposure to golf philosophies, equipment, fitness routines are all incredible perks too. The facilities themselves are beautiful and have continued to get better over time. A great physical environment to come to work in every day. Overall, I strongly recommend UGP to any coach/trainer looking to join the best team in golf performance. For anyone looking into customer service/account management/etc, UGP provides an opportunity to hone skills and invest in your own success, as well as the organizations.

Cons

Time Management - for those who struggle in this area, it could feel overwhelming at times but it also allows for one to work on this alongside a supportive team Not really a con, but if you're not passionate about golf or giving back value to customers you might have a little longer learning curve

Pros

Having joined the company on the back nine of my career, I look at UGP with a wide lens. Seeing the golden opportunity that it affords to young people who want a real career in the golf industry only validates my decision to join the company. To be a part of a team that cares about each other, and their clients ,with the same fervor, is both rare and exhilarating. The culture of caring is infectious. The desire for everyone to succeed is motivating. The positive influence that the company has on both the golfing, and non golfing community, is so admirable. Quality of life for employee and client are the driving force behind everything the company stands for. The potential for advancement is limitless, and the executive open door policy creates a collaborative culture. A fun, creative, hard working team atmosphere is the perfect ingredient for success.

Cons

To those that much is given, much is expected. The culture of collaboration and accountability may not be for everyone. Every position at UGP is vital, and comes with its own pressures.
