Pros

They offer a flexible work schedule (4/10's), telework one day per week, easy to move up the ladder. I have gone from a GS-7 to a GS-12 in only 3 years. Great benefits (TSP, Fed BC/BS, etc).

Cons

There is some beauracracy (but thats the case with most government agencies).
