Pros

There are many opportunities to grow at DLA. Not only are you supporting a commendable mission by making sure that the warfighter's needs are met, but you also have many opportunities for personal growth and development throughout the organization.

Cons

It is difficult to get accustomed to the environment if you have not had previous federal experience. The pace of the work is much different than the private sector, and it takes some time to learn all the wonderful acronyms.

Pros

It's a great environment, and there are a lot of benefits such as flex time, paid vacations. They value work/life balance.

Cons

Sometimes it can be monotonous. You have to find other roles for yourself to keep yourself interested in the agency.
