Pros

-Great starting pay -Full time hours plus OT -Amazing benefits when made regular, insurance, PTO, etc -Good overall career development opportunities there for those who want them

Cons

-Lazy co workers, people who have done this 20+ years and know they can't be fired since they're in the Union, so they do the absolute minimum while you push your hardest day in and day out -Poor Management -Lack of communication to employees by any managers or supervisors -Overnights can be difficult to adjust for some people (me being one)

Pros

Meet new people, working outside, putting smiles on people face when you deliver that package they were waiting on and the pay rate

Cons

The management is the problem and the post office need to fix. I work at the post office in SC where the manager like to talk nasty with you and like to start a problem. One day on Sunday the manager was not at the post office and these two girl was about to fight. And the manager like to leave the station and do other things on company time like putting new tires on they wife car and be gone for hours. And know you still have mail carrier out there deliver mail. During my orientation they told me to get my own route I had to wait until somebody retire or die. Then I quit my full time job because I thought I was going to get a lot of hours but that was a lie. Then they tell you to get another job to supplement you income but they want you to be available at anytime. My advice is don't get in that craft because it is a high turnover and the mangers with treat you like crap
