Pros

Great coworkers (the elderly ones) and customers

Cons

Crazy shifts, unprofessional and uneducated leadership. No room for advancement. You can be sick and dying and this place will still want you to work. They have a problem giving you your benefits that you work hard and are entitled to.

Pros

Flexible-ish, decent salary, generally nice co-workers. I enjoyed my time there for the most part.

Cons

Long-term gov employees with no desire to change, update skills. Some re-orgs without notice. Some managers who should not be managers. HQ location while metro friendly seems to be one of those "sick" gov buildings.

Pros

20 % of carriers are positive and willing to train you.

Cons

Don't leave it up to management to help you do anything. Management needs to GO!!! They only want to disrespect you and create an hostile work environment for you. You can't even get trained as a new employee by them. The job is already hard itself . Employees are put through so much abuse like harrassment, threats on getting fired, talking about employees families and one manager even told a hard working employee that he was worthless and was going straight to hell. What type of management is this? She is very unprofessional and lack management skills. Everyone thinks this manager needs to be on medication. Things are so unorganized and rules are made up on a daily basis by management and not by the book. There are a bunch of violations that the EEOC needs to investigate. They need to come in clean house and start fresh with new management and then maybe they won't have so much turnover , better morale and motivated employees.
